So another question from the new guy,

What power supplies are you guys using on your tracks? The standard power packs that come with the set or aftermarket jobbies? Has anybody investigated variable power supplies so one can slow the track down (my business partners 5 year old loves the track but theres a fairly high attrition rate on the cars when he's racing). At the moment, I've got a 16v 300mA wall pack running each lane, I've got a 20v 5A power supply available but I race like said 5 year old when thats plugged in and keep breaking things.

I'm a cheap arse. 2 lanes you use 2 Terminal tracks (One for each racer) and as with my 4 lane, 4 Terminal tracks.

So that way each track has it's own Power pack

So just browsing Dans auctions on Ebay, and noticed he's selling a 440 chassis, but it's got the o ring tires on the front. Does the thinner front tire make a difference to how it goes around the track? (
Yet another of those possibly dumb questions)

I have found that the orings are better than using original tyres

Less friction less resistance! Most the top racing chassis have O-ring front tires. They are the perfect height for the pick up shoes. Body style and center of gravity make a difference to going around corners. And as the speed risers the body style affects cornering. F1 bodies will go around a corner faster than a full bodied car!
