if you wanna get a real good look for roading (tar seal) try using wet and dry sand paper, as seen here in this pic, i still have to pull my finger out and show a pic of my layout 98% finshed,
ive added a pic with a tyco i used to own sitting in front of my pit sheds so you can the look of the wet and dry paper look for the seal, ive left the file large so you get a better look at the grit
