Welcome Aussie Mike,
Don't worry we are all reliving our youth! I refuse to grow up. I got a Tyco set one Xmas and went about destroying the cars and wearing out the chassis. Having to tinker with the chassis to keep them running was half the fun. I remember soldering little bits of copper onto the remains of the pick up shoes just for a few more hours racing. Once I had stripped all the crown/pinion gears the set got put away for years. And of course when I was young and stupid/bulletproof and chasing girls it got sold!
You are off to a good start having Tomy track. I would recommend Tomy over the others(Shutup you old Aurora guys, go check your joiners, again).
We like pics!!! Show us your Fav cars!
I'm doing repaints and customs. It's good fun, you get the car you like in the end. Pattos place in Aussie has heaps of decals!!

Cheers Dave.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Hope I can make some worthwhile contributions from time to time. When I can't I'll just try to baffle with BS!! I'll get some pics together of some of my cars and maybe a couple of my favourite track layouts from UR 3.0. Meanwhile I better get myself an avatar or sig sorted out and read up on how to get pics up etc etc. Excuse me while I just have a look around the place............

Hats off to you for hosting the board Tomo, ta.

Not a problem at all.

I'm into the Aurora AFX (and Tomy) but have Tyco and US1 as well.

You should see my Computer shop here, Has 6 AFX Sets and 2 Tyco sets here for sale.
Makes the customers wonder sometimes LOL

Trying to get a display cabinet here to start selling my extra cars, Hope to get a few hooked here.

Have fun

Pity there's so much water between me and your shop. I need some additional storage so will be getting another large capacity HDD soon. I can't imagine a better shopping experience than walking into a 'puter shop, buying a drive and then spinning off a hundred slot laps. My local MSY needs to rethink it's market I reckon. Cheers.

Hello and welcome.

Wont touch on the Holden/Ford thing - No need - Holdens rule

I'm a semi newbie here also, if you need to ask about trains or scenery I'm your man.

As you've looked around the site, you may have picked up on the train backround I have.

Good bunch of chaps, ask away & all shall be answered.

I'm definately a slot head nowm just hit 70 cars

And I'm sure there will be a few more "I Need"

Enjoy
