Passing of a legend

Dan Walsh passed away today! Dan has been a great friend to myself for many years. He loved dealing with us Kiwis as we are all a bit rough around the edges as he was.
Dan did more for the HO community in NZ than anyone! Fact!!
I will miss Dan like a brother.

Been trying to find the words for this terrible tragedy that has happened for the last couple of hours since I was told of the passing of a great mate(mate is a word I dont use lightly, but Dan was way to the top of my list),as we on this forum know Dan was always there to help in ANYWAY he could ,purchasing cars off Ebay or any other means to help us Kiwi's,outside of slot cars Dan would always keen for a chat via email at some ungodly hour and we chatted about many things well into the US early mornings, for me he was more than just a slot car guy,he was a Mate.I now wish I had rung him as I was going to many times and for some reason things got in the way,my chance has now gone and I feel sad that I have missed out on chatting to Dan first hand because I feel that we would have had a lot of laugh's.
R.I.P Dan
