Re: AFX Wanted
Use a HO train transformer! Anywhere from 13 to 16 volts was what the sets came with. The controllers are the weak link. I've got about 3 dud ones!!! Again, maybe wire in a train controller with reverse on each lane?

Re: AFX Wanted
So you think a train controller will be better, Hmmmm. Got 1 or 6 of them lying around too http://jjhobbiesonline.com/store/catalo ... CN0272.JPGHave these & they are really good for low speeds.

Re: AFX Wanted
Before I got my latest power supply I was using a train power supply that had two 14 volt outlets. Powered each lane separately. Worked great!

Re: AFX Wanted
Hello slot heads....I'm in need of some Vintage AFX track. I have heaps of straights and 9 inch quarter turns so really need 6" 12" and 15" turns either 1/8 or 1/4, banked and/or flat. (9" curves banked and cross over but not flat).
Also straights with either single or double cross overs, and squeeze tracks.
I have some flexi track but it is really only good for undulation not making acute angles.
Also a pair of 3" adapter track for Tomy AFX to Vintage AFX compatibility , as much as I'd love to go all vintage it's just not financially viable so if it has to be Tomy so be it *sigh*
My goal is to make a four lane circuit on a 12 by 4 board so have been accumulating various HO scale bits and pieces to fill the blanks and I do need two controller plugs as tow of my four only have wires but no connector to put in the terminal.
Thanks for reading and I will consider any offers that are reasonably priced for what they are.

Re: AFX Wanted
Will have a look around on the weekend (have a few box's to go through), but will see what I have that might fit the bill.
the 3" aurora to tomy adaptors are the go as then you pickup a Ghost controller 15" and it will power 1 track for you (as I have on my setup).
Had 2 on my 4 lane for a while so as to have 2 other cars going around.
