Yeah Gidday, My name is Pete, from the thriving metropolis of Christchurch. So I'm new to the hobby, having wanted a slot car set since I was 8, and finally bit the bullet and bought one. It appears that now I have the bug. I'm running about 100ft of Tomy AFX track, with about the same of Tyco still in the box. I ran out of room on my board. Mainly Super G+ cars at the moment. Just been flicking through the Show and Shine thread, damn some (all) of those cars are sweet. I finally got the layout of my track sorted after extensive testing and I am in the process of building the scenery for it. (Ironically thats what I do for a living, but usually at 1:1 scale). |

Cheers, Wish I had seen all the problems Copperhead is having on Ebay earlier, my sister-in-law worked for Ebay's version of the CIA (their technically non existant fraud department) until last week when she quit to go on a cycle tour. Would have had him sorted in 5 minutes. |

Welcome Pete, None of us want to grow up and most are reliving their childhoods! Your track sounds great! Super G+, so you like the speed? |

I do indeed, I'm the fulla who bought those tires off you last a couple of days ago. Although the main reason I have the super G's is that until I sorted the power reticulation to my track they were the only cars that would run on that length. The couple of Tomy Turbos I have are also good fun now that they run. I'm keen to try some tyco 440 x2 on the track to see how they go, but can find any in the shops down here. |

Ahhh!!! right! You should get the tires tomorrow or Saturday. You won't find Tyco in the shops. No longer supplied here. Only Tomy stuff comes here now. Can easy sort you out Tyco chassis. To answer the question you asked Swivel. There are 2 sorts of Tyco chassis. Wide and narrow. You only get narrow in the 440 chassis. Any Tyco wide chassis will fit those trucks. HP7,Curvehugger,440. Go the Fords!!!!!!!!! |
