First attempt! Jim Richards, Mark Skaife Bathurst Nissan.
Love it or hate this was a awesome race car. Just killed the opposition! And I have always been a fan of Jim Richards. The car is based on the Bathurst winning car that Richards/Skaife drove to victory. Got boo'ed by the Holden, Ford fans and the rest of the opposition as they walked onto the podium to collect there trophies. Jim Richards got the microphone and said to the crowd "You are all a pack of bastards". Body started life as a beaten up AFX Tomy blue Calsonic Skyline. Prepped and paint red. Decals are scaled down 1/24 or 1/32 plastic model decals. They did not fit and had to be modified. Next job is some 5 spoke white rims to match the wheels on the real car. Happy with the results after this first attempt.

LOL. You can swear (but in reason). Only Mat and myself look after this site. It's run from my shop in Hastings (host myself). Nice to see more AFX users.
If you want anything (Ideas etc) just ask.
Also I run my own computer business (So ask before looking on TM for PC parts) LOL. Or help with problems as well.
Have fun and treat it as it was yours, I don't mind

hi Grant, glad to finally meet you, seen you around trade me and think ive even bidded against you hahahaha and you won, yeah my tracks coming along slowly, i started out collecting afx track for my layout then moved onto tomy track after getting sick of the tabs breaking, finally ive settled on Aurora old school track, cost me a arm and a leg over the time as it doesnt come up very often on trade me, im not a fan of t-jets and only have 2, i mainly go for the AFX, with the dollar not doing so well against the US i havnt got any new cars for awhile now, i enjoy doing custom afx cars too now and then, heres a pic of 2 capris i decaled up and also placed roof racks off a escort rallye, and some others, cheers jase
