Ok ... Question for you'se fellas.. i have a stack of the Aurora hand controllers most of which work and are ok im wondering does anyone have a way of opening them up to work on the internals, ie re-solder connections or fix broken wires.. i may extend the cables for when i rebuild my power packs etc etc ?? . Or do i just smash a bad one and get an idea from there.. i have 12 of them and Really only require 4.. so wont mind breaking one up

Also i read alot of guys "clean" ( hot soapy water) their track and they say to use WD40 on a rag and wipe the rails down afterwards, i have cleaned the first bunch of my track that i brought with hot water and soap, rinsed them off with hot water and left them to dry on a hot day they have come up real clean but i have read that rust can be induced by this hence the WD40 . Im wondering do any of you do this and what product do you use CRC, Inox...

Opinions are greatly appreciated.. Cheers Dan

"Smash em bro" Then all will become clear! Soap and water is ok. Just make sure they dry really good. It will promote any rust issues. Probably Inox would be the best! What ever you use needs to be a product that will mostly evaporate and not leave reside. Always test whatever you use on a piece of track and leave for a day and check nothing melts! Isopropyl alcohol is the best stuff I've used but the fun police have fucked that up for us!!! And I never made any Cannabis oil with it!! Honest!!!!

For the track, I use white spirits and then WD40 over the rails.

But found a handy thing at the moment for the Display Cubes.

I have 72 AW cubes to be re-badged to AFX (have the stickers and corresponding cars)(Thanks wayne).
So to get the AW stickers off you would think is a pain, HELL NO, the wife said she would do them.

And she is enjoying it (hope for the full 72).

8-)
