Re: Scenery for Your Layout
Here is a shot of the same area with the plaster on. Unfortunately that was as far as I got. Its all gone now, firewood & dump. Now all full of train gear that I have boxed up. Now a games room with the slot cars on a 16ft X 4ft Table.

Re: Scenery for Your Layout
Andy. I want to start buying HO figures for when I build a layout. HO figures are too small for my Tyco cars. They are ok with AFX Thunderjet. Tyco and a lot of AFX is not really HO scale. I have seen T-jets referred to as 1/87 and Tyco/Afx as 1/64. But when it comes to HO and they are advertised as 1/64 figures they seem to be 1/87? Any ideas????? What the closest scale up from HO?

Re: Scenery for Your Layout
For scale people probably English 'OO' would be closer at 1:72.

Re: Scenery for Your Layout
I already have all my track for my layout stashed away!!!! Really I probably have too much track. I will be using Faller and Tyco for 2 different sorts of layouts. Faller for a town scene type track and Tyco for a decent race track.

Re: Scenery for Your Layout
Have a look at this layout. I have all of the US1 stuff that is in this video and some other bits. I have the grey cross over tracks and also the grey railway crossing tracks. The ones on this set are the black ones. Been slowly gathering this stuff for 2 years and have never set the whole lot up. I have no idea about the smoke? Have no room to set it all up yet!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFmyZj11lrw
