Save download & install, Then shut the computer down.
Re-start computer in safemode - Tap f8 on PC start-up. For info on this see: http://tinyurl.com/yw4rr
Then run Ccleaner
Go into Options/advanced/ and untick the box "Only delete files in temp folder older than 48Hrs"
Go back to cleaner & tick or untick each of the application you want cleaned. I always start by ticking all accept Hotfix uninstallers, your choice.
Be aware!!! that some data (jpg etc) can be stored in strange places like the temp folder /recycle bin which will be emptied by Ccleaner. These folders should be checked by going here first: start/control panel/Internet options /settings /view files/view objects. Checking here before ticking on Ccleaner & checking in recycle bin/then analyze /when finished run cleaner/ click-on Registry /then scan for issues/fix selected issues/save back ups & delete latter on when all clear /fix all selected issues/OK/close/repeat till none.
